نصب VMware vCenter 4

After I installed Vmware ESX4. It’s time to zoom in on vCenter. This is a simple article that describes how to install vCenter on a Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2. The steps which I explain below will not rule out that it works with other settings. Remember, this is for evaluation purpose only!

1. The first Thing is to make a Virtual machine.
   • DO I REALY HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS?
   • Let’s go further with step 2
2. The second is starting your Virtual Machine or Physical.
   • Download your copy of vCenter over here.
   • After this run the setup on your server where you attempt to install vCenter
   • You will see the setup as show below.
   • Click vCenter Server
   • 
   • Click Next
   • 
   • Mark ‘I agree to the therms in the license agreement’ and click Next
   • 
   • Fill in your Customer information and click Next. Because this is an evaluation I do not enter any license key. This give you time to play for 60 day. So choose to add a serial number later. Click Next
   • 
   • Keep it simpel and install a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express instance. Again, this is an evaluation. But feel free to do it with an extern SQL Database. Click Next

   • Use a system account or one you made. I choos a system account for now. Click Next
   • 
   • You can choose for default settings here. Click Next
   • 
   • Make your life simple and keep it default. Create a standalone. Click Next
   • 
   • Click Next
   • 
   • Click Install and Hit it!
   • 
   • Just a picture of the setup .
   • 
   • And ready. Log in with your account. In my example it’s ‘Administrator’
