Provisioning for Hitachi Unified Storage (TSI2259)
Course Description
This 5 day instructor-led course provides details on the block storage provisioning features available on the Hitachi Unified Storage 100 family. The course presents step-by-step procedures on how to install, configure and use Hitachi Command Suite and Hitachi Storage Navigator Modular 2 to configure RAID groups and create logical unit numbers or LUNs. Learners will also learn how to present storage to servers and use Hitachi Dynamic Link Manager for path management.
This course also aims to enable learners to provision and manage the Hitachi Unified Storage Block Module using program product software, including the Hitachi Cache Residency Manager feature, Hitachi Dynamic Provisioning, Hitachi Volume Migration, the Hitachi Cache Partition Manager feature and the command line interface (CLI).
Hands-on lab activities are included to reinforce the concepts presented during the course.
TSI2259 is a combination of the 2 courses — TSI1949 Basic Provisioning for Hitachi Unified Storage and TSI1950 Advanced Provisioning for Hitachi Unified Storage.
This course currently covers the Block version of Hitachi Unified Storage. For HUS File Module training, please contact your local training center.Course Objectives
