رفع مشکل A CONNECTION TO THE VIEW SERVER COULD NOT BE ESTABLISHED
When you get a error simular to this one “A connection to the View Server https://<servername>:443 could not be established” you can try the following below. You get this message because VMware View Default enables SSL and this was changed afterwards. Looks like a bug to me. Because seems to be not changeble afterwards.
- Open the administrator console via the IE webbrowser.
- Navigate to the <servername> of your connection server. In my case this is the VDM01
- Example: http://vdm01/admin and log in with your credentials.
- Go to your ‘Configuration’ tab
- Go to ‘Global Settings’ and click Edit
- You see the next popup windows
- Mark ‘Use SSL settings for client connections’
- The second is to reboot your connection server or restart your broker service.( Both will disconnect your connections between the clients and connection server, Keep this in mind)
- Reboot your connection server, In my case this is the VDM01
- Or Restart your service which is ‘VMware View Connection Server’
- If this is not working reboot your connection server
Everything should be working again now.
