Capacity upgrade licenses are available.. Deploying StoreOnce as a virtual appliance means server virtualization is leveraged so you have increased flexibility and the potential to reduce costs through optimized use of storage, rack space and power.

The StoreOnce VSA has an all-inclusive license which includes the StoreOnce Catalyst, Replication and Security Pack features and entitlement to HPE technical support.

What’s new

• A 50TB product, for users with larger data volumes to protect or who want to use StoreOnce VSA as a centralized store for copies of backups. It has all the same features of the 4TB and 10TB products.

• The addition of KVM support to StoreOnce VSA enables use in Ubuntu Linux environments as well as Microsoft and VMware virtual environments.

• 5-year licenses now available on all StoreOnce VSA products, as well as the existing 3-year licenses.

• Licenses to scale up capacity; from 4TB to 10TB and 10TB to 50TB.

• Improved flexibility to add capacity in 5TB and 10TB increments, as well as the continuing 1TB increments.

Flexible to use, HPE StoreOnce VSA can be configured in Ethernet environments with StoreOnce Catalyst, VTL and CIFS backup targets. For Fibre Channel integration or the ability to write to NFS interfaces you will need a StoreOnce Backup hardware appliance.

StoreOnce VSA can deliver a flexible backup target for service providers and organizations with an ITaaS (IT as a service) infrastructure.

Service providers can rapidly stand-up the StoreOnce VSA and retire it again when the backup capacity is no longer needed to regain the resources.

In multi-tenant environments, one StoreOnce VSA per tenant provides security of backup data between tenants.
